SBWH Podcast Ep. #84: Learning from Yoga with Jen Hess
This week we got the chance to talk to Jennifer Hess, co-founder of Finger Lakes Yogascapes and owner of Jen Hess Yoga and Wellness, about using yoga to push outside your comfort zone and live life authentically. You can listen using the player below or by subscribing in iTunes.
Jennifer Hess believes that yoga is a way to break through all the things in life that get in the way of living authentically. She uses yoga to help push others outside of their comfort zone from the safety of their mat, so they feel more open to stepping out in other areas of their life. Jen wants to open others up to the possibilities of life by embracing the inherent messiness and discomfort so they can create the life they want to live.
By using the connection between the body and the mind, Jen sequences poses based on energy centers to help clients feel balanced. She helps others let go of fear and move past discomfort so they can open themselves up to life and find power, peace, and freedom.
We are so excited to be teaming up with Jen and her FLY co-founder Leslee for the Life on the Lake Yoga Retreat!
